Aví only uses silk obtained through “PEACEFUL SILK EXTRACTION”.
In peaceful silk extraction (or “non-violent silk”), the silkworm is allowed to emerge naturally from the cocoon as a moth. This method avoids killing the pupae for its silk and is more aligned with ethical and sustainable practices.
After the moths emerge, the empty cocoons are collected and turned into luxurious silk. The fabric produced in this manner is cherished for its ethical sourcing worldwide.
