What style should I order?
Aví has curated an array of scrub cap designs that range from traditional to exclusive. It is recommended to select a style that is most compatible with your hair and the way you plan to wear your scrub cap. For instance: if you need full coverage but have long hair and want the most comfortable protection, we recommend either our “Ponytail with Eyelets” or “Classic Ponytail” style.
Regardless of the style you choose, we are sure you will fall in love with several of our designs. Many customers happily rock several different styles throughout their work week, depending on their mood and work demands.
Why is the "Aví Cotton Pouch" included with every scrub cap order?
At Aví, we pay attention to the little things. Each scrub cap is shipped inside our organic cotton pouch, which serves many purposes, including:
HYGIENIC TRANSPORT OF YOUR Aví SCRUB CAP
Because you don’t need whatever splatters on you at work to end up inside your gym bag, purse or car seat, now you have a dust bag that you can safely transport your cap in. It is also great at keeping pet hair from home (or that half-eaten protein bar at the bottom of your gym bag) off your favorite workday accessory.

YOUR Aví CAP LAUNDRY BAG
The cotton pouch can also double as your laundry bag if you don’t have a mesh laundry bag of your own. Simply place your cap inside the pouch, tighten the drawstring and toss in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. Afterwards, remove the pouch and hang your scrub cap to dry. While you should always air dry your scrub cap, your Aví Cotton Pouch may go in the dryer on low heat.
Isn't silk the same as satin?
Not at all! While satin may look and feel smooth on one side, it is a synthetic material usually made of cotton, polyester, rayon and polyester blends. These more abrasive fabrics can dry and snag your hair, especially after repeat washing. Satin is also not breathable, increases heat retention and induces sweat, all of which can be irritating and uncomfortable with long-term wear.
Silk, on the other hand, is a natural protein fiber and one of the most luxurious and strongest fabrics in the world. It exhibits a myriad of anti-aging benefits for skin and does not snag your strands or break down, nor does it irritate sensitive skin like satin can. Silk is naturally hydrating, cooling, breathable and hypoallergenic. It also helps prevent split ends, can reduce hair frizz and prolongs hair styles.

Do the scrub caps come in different sizes?
While each Aví Scrub Cap style is one-size-fits- all, every style has adjustable details to ensure a custom fit.

Is my Aví Scrub Cap machine washable?
Yes! We recommend washing your Aví Scup Cap on a gentle/ delicate cycle with a mild detergent and then hanging it to dry.
To best protect the luxurious fabrics used in your cap, we recommend washing your cap inside a laundry bag. If you don’t have a favorite mesh bag at home, don’t fret! Your “Aví Organic Cotton Pouch” doubles as a laundry bag, so put your cap inside your Aví pouch and toss into the wash.
Handwashing is the preferred method… (if/ when you have the time).
What is the white string keeping the ends of my Aví Scrub Cap together?
That stitch is what we call the “hygiene safety stitch.” Aví is big on cleanliness and hygiene, so this allows us to ensure that if an item is returned, it is returned in unused and unworn condition.
Once you confirm that you love the color and style of your Aví scrub cap, you can cut/ open the string and wear it. Please know that removing, tampering with or cutting the stitch will void the eligibility to return your item.

Am I able to return or exchange my purchase?
Yes! If you don’t love your Aví scrub cap once it arrives, you are welcome to return or exchange it within 14 days of purchase. Please be sure NOT to open or cut the “hygiene safety stitch” if you wish to return your cap. Opening the stitch will void the eligibility to return your item.
Each return must also include the Aví Cotton Pouch. Returning a Scrub Cap without the Cotton Pouch will void the eligibility to return your item.

When will I receive my item?
Orders are processed within 1-2 business day(s), excluding weekends and public holidays. Because Aví aims for each customer to receive their order as soon as possible, most orders are processed within a few hours of order placement.
Once your order is processed, your order will be picked up by the carrier and you will then receive tracking information to track your shipment. Orders are shipped using the shipping speed selected at Checkout.

Can I alter my selection once my order has been placed?
Any order change requests must be sent prior to completion of order processing. We will certainly do our best to honor any order change requests, but the ability to fulfill change requests cannot be guaranteed since most orders enter processing within a few hours of being placed. If we have your desired item(s) available in stock and can honor your request, please note that this may delay your processing/ shipping time.
After an order is submitted, processing begins and the order cannot be canceled. Please see our Return and Shipping Policies for more details.
What if I receive the wrong order?

Please email us at: hello@aviscrubcaps.com with your order number and a photo of the item you received. We will send you return instructions and ship you the correct selection right away, free of charge.
